Spontaneous Weekend Fun

So Adam and I decided it was time for a spontaneous family vacation last weekend. We have never stayed in a hotel with the boys, but we thought it was time to try. So we made some calls and 30 minutes later (yes, that is right just 30 minutes to pack up 2 adults and 2 babies...we are goood) we were on our way to OKC! Adam's Mom, Dauna and his niece, Trish decided to make the drive from Muskogee and join us! We got over sized room at a Comfort Inn (you try cramming two playpens and about 2,000 toys into a standard sized room, lol) and had us a little vacation...

It was super-fun and the boys did just great! We got up Sunday morning and headed to our favorite place...the zoo of course! The boys get sooo excited there, it is pretty cute! It ended up being much hotter than we thought it would be, so by the end of the day we were all sweaty and exhausted, but we had a great time....

And Adam made a new friend. :) There was an ancient, HUGE alligator snapping turtle...Adam wanted to bring it home, but the zoo security would not let him. He was too big to smuggle out under his shirt. lol
