Ho Ho Sno

What a blizzard! Christmas Eve brought about 12 inches of snow and 50mph winds!! The picture above was taken about an hour and a half into the day...and it snowed for 8 hours straight! We had a great day being snowed in. The boys loved watching it outside (from the warmth of their playroom of course!) and we had a lazy day full of movies, naps and playing. Although it delayed our Christmas plans, we had fun! We were able to dig out Christmas afternoon and slide our way to the folks in Blackwell. Here are a few random pics I got that day...

The yard had drifts as high as my waist!

The boys loot from Christmas morning. They loved that zebra! It bounces and spins and plays music, they had a blast on it...we should have bought two!

Beanie Babies :)

My sister took some great photos a few weeks ago of the boys in their beanies outside. Tavian is in the red/black beanie and Xavier is in the blue/navy beanie. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!

Work holiday party

I took the boys to my holiday kid's party at work where they had their picture taken with Santa. They didn't cry at all, but were very suspicious and confused. :) They sat there for about 10 seconds before Xavier wanted down, so we only got a couple of shots. They had fun running around and "playing" games. Their favorite was the duck pond where they proceeded to pick up every duck, "taste" it and throw it away. It was pretty cute. Here are some random pics from the day.The boys playing with the duck pond.

Some gingerbread cookies that I made for everyone.

Big Boy Carseats & Wagons

I had to post this picture, it was too cute...I was outside the sliding glass door and Tavian kept smooshing up his face against it and saying "mama, mama". It was hilarious. He actually kept blowing his cheeks out and stuff but I couldn't get a good picture of it.

We got an incredible deal on a radio flyer wagon off craigslist, we have been looking for one everywhere, this one has the back rests and the seatbelts and even a cubby attachment! It was 65 degrees yesterday, so we took the boys on their first wagon ride. They really liked it!

We even took "Ruffles", Tavian's puppy dog for a ride in the back cubby! :)

The boys made reindeer hats at daycare and although they didn't appreciate having it stuck on their head, I thought it was too cute to not get a picture!

And!...we got 2 extra car seats for my car. We were tired of having to switch vehicles everytime to get the boys. So we did a test drive and the boys seemed to really like them. We had to forward face them due to space which makes me nervous, but it is nice being able to see their faces!
I call that a success! Two sleeping boys! :)

Our first birthday party

We had the boys' official birthday party yesterday. It was fun, a lot of people came and we all had a good time. The boys were pretty overwhelmed, but overall it went well. They got spoiled rotten and were pretty big hams for the camera. Tavian didn't enjoy the birthday cake and didn't get any on him until Adam stuck his hand in his cake. :) Xavier on the other hand, smushed it up pretty good and even ate some! Here are some random pics. . .

Xavier has to inspect his cake carefully . . .

Before taking a few bites. . . .

And washing it all down with juice!

Tavian wasn't having it . . .

And he pouted when Adam stuck his hand in the cake :)

And they got spoiled rotten with gifts. Xavier just wanted to climb on the boxes, lol!

Happy Birthday Octavian & Xavier

My baby boys are one years old! I set up a little photo session the other day and made them a couple of little birthday cakes, so they could dig in. Here are some photos...they didn't like the cake at all and Tavian kept making little shivering motions and shaking his head, lol. It was their first time to have sweets so they had no clue what was going on. Xavier was very interested in throwing his "one" candle across the room and then chasing it. It was kind of a mess, but we got some fun shots!

They thought it was pretty funny to step in the cake!
